About these terms
These terms govern your use of mallorcaboathire.eu and the enquiry and booking process for the boat and jet-ski hire operated by Mallorca Boat Hire. If you have any questions, contact info@mallorcaboathire.eu.
Mallorca Boat Hire is not the end service provider. We arrange bookings with independent boat owners and operators, who provide the charter itself.
An enquiry is not a booking
Submitting the enquiry or voucher form is a request for availability and a quote. It is not a confirmed booking and creates no contract, and no payment is taken at the enquiry stage. A booking is confirmed only once we reply to agree the boat, date, and price, and once any deposit or payment terms have been set out and accepted.
Use of this site
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, submit false information, or use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
Cancellation and refunds (Alcúdia and Can Picafort)
The cancellation terms below currently apply to charters departing from Alcúdia and Can Picafort only. For all other charters, the cancellation terms of that boat's own provider apply instead.
Reserving any boat requires a deposit of 30% of the charter price.
- Cancelled 2 months or more before the charter date: 100% of the payment is refunded and the booking is cancelled.
- Cancelled from 2 months up to 10 days before the charter date: 50% of the reservation is refunded, with a surcharge of 15% of the boat's value.
- Cancelled within the last 10 days before the charter date: no refund, 100% of the reservation is retained.
Booking conditions
- Deposit: a returnable deposit may be required before you pick up the boat. The amount depends on the boat and the length of the rental.
- Final payment: due before the rental start date.
- Documentation: you may be asked for documents such as a navigation licence or identification card.
- Maximum capacity: the maximum capacity stated on the boat's specifications must be respected.
- Weather conditions: if conditions are unsafe for boating, the rental may be rescheduled or cancelled.
- Rules and regulations: all port, national and maritime rules must be followed.
- Fuel: not included in the rental price unless stated otherwise. Fuel is billed by consumption at the end of the rental, deducted from the deposit where possible.
Your responsibilities on the water
Where a licence is required for a given boat, the hirer is responsible for holding the appropriate valid licence. All guests must follow the operator’s and skipper’s safety instructions. We may refuse or end a hire without refund where safety instructions are not followed or where use is unlawful.
